Wool & Willow Festival
The Gwanwyn Festival is a month-long national festival held across Wales in May, celebrating creativity in older age.
The festival offers opportunities for greater participation by older people in the arts, and to highlight and promote their participation throughout the year.
In 2010 we were lucky enough to secure funding from Gwanywn to run four different taster sessions (free of charge!) for people aged 50 years and older during the Gwanwyn Festival Month. We are hoping that we might again have the opportunity to run these sessions in 2011.
